SCUBA DIVING
St.Kitts (and its sister-island Nevis) offers exceptional dive sites for the novice and the die-hard diver as well. These include wrecks, reefs, walls and caves at BOTH islands! Excursions can be arranged, through the front desk, with our dive shop partner, Scuba Safaris Ltd.
Scuba Safaris has been in operation since 1985, offering superior knowledge and experience of our local waters, numerous dive sites and varying weather conditions. They operate 2 custom built dive boats, the largest "Sea Monkey" is a 45 foot Corinthian catamaran which takes a maximum of 25 passengers for 2 tank dives. The smaller boat "Over Exposure" is a 34 foot Island Hopper which has a capacity of 14 passengers for 2 tank dives. All dives offered are guided by an Instructor/DiveMaster.
Scuba Safaris offers both PADI and NAUI certifications, including the 'Scuba Diver' and 'Open Water' certification courses to specialty courses such as deep, night, wreck and advanced diver. Scuba Safaris offers daily; guided 2 tank boat dives to wrecks, reefs, caverns and canyons, Resort courses (first time scuba diver) and snorkel excursions. FAIRVIEW GREATHOUSE PLANTATION ESTATE
A charming traditional West Indian Great House surrounded by a tropical botanical garden, Fairview Greathouse Plantation Estate is a "must see" attraction on the island of St.Kitts.
Just a short drive westward out of Basseterre along the Island Main Road through small villages and you will arrive at Fairview Great House. This 300 year old estate property has been restored with a grand great house and courtyard surrounded by a tropical botanical garden and outer buildings. A recent restoration of the property has enhanced its old world charm and romance with a resulting magical setting for a tour of the property followed by "High Tea", lunch or dinner at the adjacent open air restaurant.
Enjoy a guided walk around the great house which is believed to have been initially built in 1701 by the French. This Great House has had many owners and inhabitants over the years, each leaving their mark and contributing to the unique history of the property. The inhabitants that have been recorded to reside at this site include the senior officer of the colonial French military in St. Kitts, as well as American John Gardiner and English lawyer James Stephens. The rich history of the site and the island is well displayed with its superbly furnished historical information room that brings to life the 1700s – 1800s with true impressions of what life was like on an Estate in St. Kitts during that era. ZIPLINING
Experience an exhilarating "flight" through the rainforest! The newest ziplines in the eastern Caribbean belong to Sky Safari St. Kitts, located on the grounds of the historic Wingfield Estate and giving views of Brimstone Hill and the Valley of the Giants. The system offers five cable lines, with the longest ride being over 1,350 feet long, 250 feet above the ground. At the end of the course is a natural river pool for cooling off. ATV SAFARI

GYMNASIUM
The Gym is open from 6:00am to 9:00pm daily and features a comprehensive selection of state-of-the art work-out equipment and free weights. The juice bar offers a selection of nutritional and energy shakes and smoothies. Please note that only persons who are over the age of 18 years are permitted to use the gym. If you would like additional assistance, please consult the front desk or stop by and see the gym manager.

SNORKELING
Probably the best way to enjoy snorkeling on St. Kitts, is to take a catamaran cruise to the deserted coves along the southeastern peninsula. However, it is also possible to have a fully satisfying experience just by venturing around the rocks at the end of most of the beaches.
BOAT TRIPS
The hotel has a tour desk facility which can provide all the services required for you to book a sunset cruise, glassbottom expedition or a trip to our sister island Nevis. For this and other activities please call the front desk.
BOARD GAMES
An assortment of board games such as Monopoly, Chess and Dominoes are available from the front desk, please dial 407 for assistance. In the interest of other guests who may wish to use them, please return games to the front desk when you are finished with them.
EXCURSIONS
Trips around the island and to neighbouring Nevis can be arranged via the front desk. Brimstone Hill Fortress is a must see! Also available are deep-sea fishing, sailing trips and nature trails.
NIGHT LIFE
St.Kitts has various night spots outside of the hotel especially in the surrounding Frigate Bay area and "the Strip". Our own Bamboo Lounge is quickly becoming THE place to hang out and meet locals and tourists on the weekends!
